一、倫理聲明

作者向本刊提交稿件即代表作者確認其研究符合研究所在國家的倫理規範和法律規定。

1. Ethics Declarations

By submitting a manuscript to this journal, the author confirms that the research complies with the ethical guidelines and legal requirements of the country where the research is conducted.

二、關於來稿中人工智能（AI）輔助工具使用的規範

作者需披露是否在論文中使用了人工智能（AI）輔助工具（例如：大型語言模型、聊天機器人或圖像創作工具如Sora）。作者如果使用這些技術，應在封面信、提交過程和所提交論文的適當部分遵循以下規定披露相關信息：

1. 作者如使用AI輔助工具進行語法檢查、拼寫、格式和語言校對無需披露；
2. 作者如使用AI輔助工具進行寫作輔助、資料收集和分析，或生成圖形和圖像，必須在致謝和方法部分中披露，並說明使用了哪些工具、何種版本、為何使用及其使用方式；
3. AI輔助工具不能作為共同作者，因為它們對研究工作不承擔責任；
4. 作者如未能妥善披露AI輔助工具使用將會受到處罰，處罰力度取決於違規性質；
5. 此規定在學刊編輯委員會批准後立即生效；
6. 學刊編輯委員會將定期審閱和更新此規定。請查看學刊網站以獲取最新版本的規定。

2. Guidelines on the use of AI-assisted tools in submissions

Authors are required to disclose whether they used Artificial Intelligence (AI)–assisted technologies (such as Large Language Models, chatbots, or image creators like Sora) in their submitted work. That is, authors who use such technology should disclose, in the cover letter, the submission process, and the submitted work in the appropriate section if applicable by following these guidelines:

1. AI-assisted tools for grammar checking, spelling, formatting, and language proofreading are exempt from disclosure;
2. Authors who utilized AI-assisted tools for writing assistance, data collection and analysis, or the generation of figures and images must disclose this in the acknowledgments and methods sections as part of the text, specifying the full name of the tool used (with version number), how it was used, and the reason for use, where applicable;
3. AI-assisted tools cannot be credited as co-authors, as they do not hold responsibility for the integrity of the research work;
4. Failure to properly disclose will result in penalties when discovered. The severity of the penalty depends on the nature of the violation;
5. The guidelines are effective immediately upon approval of the journal’s editorial board;
6. The guidelines will be subject to periodic review and updates. Check the journal website for the most up-to-date version.

三、人類參與者

《傳播與社會學刊》要求所有涉及人類參與者的研究作者遵循ICMJE關於保護研究參與者的指引、《貝爾蒙特報告》或《赫爾辛基宣言》（視具體情況而定）。涉及人類受試者的研究必須已經獲得倫理委員會的正式批准。如倫理委員會豁免批准要求，應在稿件中加以說明。

3. Human Participants

Communication and Society require authors of research involving human participants to adhere to the ICMJE guidelines on Protection of Research Participants, The Belmont Report, or the Declaration of Helsinki, as appropriate. Research involving human subjects must have obtained formal approval from an ethics committee. If the requirement for approval was waived by the ethics committee, it should be explained in the manuscript.

四、利益衝突

作者提交論文至本刊，即代表同意如實匯報可能存在的潛在利益衝突。對已披露的利益衝突，本刊將評估其性質與程度，採取適當措施以維持評審與決策的公正性，例如：由無利益衝突之編輯接手稿件，排除具利益衝突的審稿人，增加額外獨立審稿等。所有處置皆以透明、公平為原則，並確保審稿過程之完整性。

4. Conflict of Interests

By submitting a manuscript to this journal, the author agrees to accurately report any potential conflicts of interest. Once a conflict of interests is disclosed, the journal will assess the nature and extent of the conflict, and appropriate steps will be taken to ensure unbiased editorial handling, such as: reassigning a manuscript to a different editor, excluding reviewers who have conflicts of interest, and requesting additional independent review, etc. All decisions will prioritize transparency, objectivity, and fairness in the peer review and editorial process. 

五、同意發表

作者提交論文至本刊，即代表作者同意凡是可能通過稿件被識別的任何參與者（或其監護人）均已獲得審閱最終稿件的機會，並已提供書面同意，以授權發布相關研究。

5. Consent to Publish

By submitting a manuscript to this journal, the author confirms that any participants (or their guardians) who may be identifiable through the manuscript have been given an opportunity to review the final manuscript and have provided written consent to publish.
